8. Server- and infrastructure hardware
   Our vServers are running on specially designed "proDOM" server systems with AMD-Opteron or AMD DualCore Athlon64 processors, 4 to 8 GB ECC secured RAM and purpose-built server-SATA-harddisks in a RAID bond. As platform for our host servers we are running a specially designed Gentoo linux operating system.

10. Dedicated Memory (RAM)
    Our virtualisation assigns memory hard - overbooking of memory like products from other vendors do is technically impossible. Even with small amount of memory you can have impressive results. In addition dynamic allocatable memory is available, in terms of swap space.
11. Flexibility
    Due to paravirtualisation you can use applications as OpenVPN, which can't be used with many products due to kernel-restrictions. Xen offers real server power instead of process isolation!
12. Performance
    The x|encon Servers are installed on special high-end servers. All servers possess at least two processors. Unused cpu-reserves are available as "burst". Our x|pro-Packages automatically use two CPUs and special SMP-kernels.
13. External firewall
    Irrespective of the firewall used on your host you can use the external firewall from the my.xencon.net system and have it managed comfortably through the webfrontend.
14. Monitoring
    Have your most important services on your server monitored around the clock - my.xencon.net offers you all tools needed to do so. You want to know how an intruder views your system? Our NMAP-monitoring service grants you the possibility to get in the view of the attacker.
15. No Ressource-Limits
    Our servers are not being slowed down due to obscure ressource or processor limits.
16. ISPConfig or SysCP as Open-Source Control-Panel
    Don't pay for licenses you don't need. We let you choose whether you want to utilize a "Hosting-Control-Panel" or not. Our default-images are specially designed minimal systems. For the service in webhosting we recommend the free ISPConfig, or SyCP, as an alternative to Plesk or Confixx. We'll offer a debian based image for this.

    The supply of your server is completely automated by our infrastructure systems. After successful vaildation you can start working on your server right away.During working hours this is normally done within the hour.

    Full cost-control! You can decide whether your server is beeing automatically halted or keeps on running when included traffic is used up.
